WHAT RAREREG IS
A permanent record for a car that isn’t ordinary.
Most vehicle-history tools are built around a generic used car: one VIN, one accident report, one resale estimate. A Saleen, a COPO, a Hellcat Redeye, or a numbered build carries more than that — a builder, a program, a build number, and documentation that supports what the car actually is. RareReg exists to give that identity a permanent, public record: one that continues past any single owner, listing, or sale.

That status can change, and the vehicle can pass between owners over time, but its RareReg record is built to continue independently of any one sale. Owner names stay private: a vehicle’s public record shows the car, not the person who owns it.

It is not a generic used-car marketplace, and it is being built specifically around the details that make these vehicles different, rather than adapted from a general-purpose listing tool.
